Tocai Friulano 2004, Simcic, Goriska Brda, Slovenia
Characteristics and description:
A yellow colour with a shade of gold. Harvesting very mature grapes gives it an extremely full- bodied, rich and long-lasting aroma. After several minutes a complex aroma develops, that ranges from a herbal note to the fragrance of dry flowers. A touch of mineral can also be discerned. The taste is initially peachy and then fruity. It is rich and full-bodied. There is a pleasant aftertaste of ripe, bitter almonds.
We recommend it with cooked asparagus salad with eggs, pasta and artichokes, various cold seafood appetizers, vegetable risotto, grilled vegetables, assorted meat medallions, stuffed chicken. Serving temperature: 11-12C

Characteristics and description:
A light and fresh Summer Cuvée, composed of 70 % Rhine Riesling, 20 % Sauvignon blanc and 10 % Muskateller. The nose is correspondingly aromatic, and the palate gently flanked. The acidity is well-integrated into the fruit. A wine to enjoy when it’s young. Wonderful drinking wine, pleasant with starters and light meals, sandwich lunchens.

Characteristics and description:
Deep Bordeaux colour with a hint of ruby. The bouquet is of fruity notes, cherries and plums noticable. Develops from very mature fruits to dried flowers and back to apple with a slightly toasted hint. The palate recognizes fresh and mineral characteristics, together with a warm and full body.

Cabernet Sauvignon Réserve 2003 Simcic
Characteristics and description:
Ruby red colour, still youthful tones. The initial effect on the nose is rich and intensive with fragrances of fruit, raspberry, blackberry. The taste is concentrated, full, tannins are sweet, the finish is reminiscent of cherries, a long-lasting aftertaste. A rich wine of a modern style.
We recommend it with red meat in all its forms and preparation, from smoke dried, cured to baked or grilled, big venison, sausages, mature cheese.
